This means that June is a very good writer so that Anne did not have to work very hard to adapt the original story into a film script. June is also a very good actor so the whole process from beginning to end (writing and acting), is easy to follow — like walking along a straight line on the ground. Safe and quick.
Callum apologises but he has to leave Anne and Brian as June, along with the rest of the cast, are back on set and the crew are ready to film.
The clapperboard is marked with the scene and film shot number i.e. Take 1 for the first filming of the scene. This is to be easier when editing all the scenes together which make the final film ready to release to the public.
Brian continues speaking to Anne: I believe June wanted you to add some extra ideas of your own in the script, some unusual unexpected elements, is that right?
Anne: That was fun, and a huge honour but a big responsibility too. (Responsibility is something we are involved with so we want everything to go right then people know they can rely on us).
Anne then also has to leave Brian as she has to speak to the 'continuity' person — someone who is also responsible for doing what?
Being reliable.
I have no idea what that means.
Making sure the actors and stage set are as they were before and/or should be now.
